  How it all started..
In 2015 we met for the first time together to brew beer. Fascinated by the matter and the urge to optimize the process at the same time, I assembled a agitator in the DIY store using simple materials. This was then presented in the Hobbybrauerforum and met with an equally great response. As a graduate industrial engineer (Diplom) the task was given: A stirrer has to be developed, which replaces the manual process of stirring and at the same time is of high quality and affordable. This was the birth of Brauahrdware.de. Since then, the portfolio has grown steadily.

  What motivates me?
The biggest challenge is to offer high-quality products at a fair price.  I attach great importance to the fact that the parts I develop are manufactured and tested in Germany. The positive resonance of the hobby brewers encourages me in my actions and causes me to constantly improve and expand my product portfolio. All with the goal that we can produce our own beer more simply.

  What are the advanteges of a brewing system with agitator?
There will be reasons why industrial breweries work with agitators. I would like to briefly mention the main advantages for us hobby brewers compared to other systems:

  • the malt grist is optimally blended, which in combination with the lauter friend leads to a higher brewhouse yield
  • optimal temperature distribution due to the shape of the paddles
  • roasted malt or similar can be added at any time
  • the painting grist can be very fine or coarse grinded
  • it can be mixed and purified in the same kettle, ideally with the lauter friend
  • the cleaning can be done comfortably in the dishwasher or under the tap
  • compared to systems with pumps, nothing can become clogged, no channels or temperature nests are formed
  • the agitators are dimensioned to fit standard pots and pans
  • Made in Germany - leads to a long service life
  • if you want to upscale, the resale value is high
