The motor support and the hinged cover form the basis of the agitator. The motor is mounted on it. In order to achieve a homogeneous temperature distribution in the vessel, it is necessary to cover the entire surface so that the heat cannot escape. The motor mount is fastened to the pouring edge of the boiler by means of the tension closures. In addition, there is a Ø21mm (for ½ inch) hole in which a thermometer or a thermowell can be inserted for temperature monitoring.
